Welcome to the IFT Academy East:
I am Captain Katherine Harte, Comandant of the Academy East. The IFT Academy East has been in operation since January of 1998 as an Educational branch of the International Federation of Trekkers. We are committed to serving the IFT membership in a timely and friendly manner and to offering the membership a wide selection of courses at the lowest possible cost.
The Academy East offers three Courses on Professional Development, the Officer Candidate Course the initial course of instruction for the new IFT Officer, the Staff Officer Course for those in or seeking a staff officer position within the Chapter and the Command Course: Commanding Officer's for anyone who is a new Commanding Officer or who aspires to be one. We also offer a selection of Elective Courses on topics which include Alien races, such as the Romulans and Cardassians, as well as Science related Courses on Space, Ecology, Whales and other subjects of interest.
